CLONSHIRE RIVER (2) returns from a spell. Concluded previous prep placing in a maiden hurdle (3118m) at Thurles. Expected to go well. MORNING SOLDIER (5) disappointed in latest attempting a hurdle (3218m) at Clonmel and could make amends. MYWAYOFTHINKIN (7) brings good recent form and can be considered while OMNISCIENT (9) looks set to make his presence felt.
BELLOCCIO (1) makes jumping debut returning after a break of seven months. Last race beaten 6L third on the flat over 2414m at Kempton Park AW. Moved to Willie Mullins yard since and finds a nice contest. Consider. MARTINSTOWN (7) finished tenth in latest tackling 1609m at Curragh seven months ago. Attempts jumps racing for the first time and could be thereabouts. BODYBUILDER (2) returns from a 374-day spell having won a point to point (4023m) prior. Now represents the Gordon Elliott stable and finds a good opportunity. SILENT DAWN (8) started at big odds when finishing third in a maiden hurdle (3822m) at Kilbeggan three days back. In the mix.
RACE.3.
SCOTT LANG (2) races third-up having placed third-up previously and finding a nice race is the one to beat. HILLSDALE (1) scored two back tackling a hurdle (3118m) at Naas. Disappointed in latest attempting a hurdle (3822m) at Naas beaten 24L. Could make amends. EDGE OF MY SEAT (11) will be looking to improve on a last-start eleventh when tackling the flat over 2414m at Gowran Park during October. Better effort anticipated.
RACE.4.
FENWAY PARK (2) returned from a layoff finishing 7L fourth attempting a novice hurdle (3218m) at this track. Fitter and could prove tough to beat. CAMINO ROCK (1) resumes from a five month spell after delivering just the one attempt last campaign tackling a novice hurdle (4626m) at Thurles. Could pose a serious challenge. LIGHTKEEPER (5) finished fourth the start before last contesting a maiden hurdle (3419m) at Down Royal and is considered on that form. LIGHT FANDANGO (4) is a yet to race gelding by sire Doyen from the mare Go Out Dancing. Watch for market moves.
RACE.5.
BENJIS BENEFIT (10) opened campaign with a solid second attempting a hurdle (3822m) at Downpatrick. Last start ran second in a hurdle (3419m) at Down Royal. On current form could take stopping. CLUB MANAGER (8) impressed winning a hurdle (3419m) at Bellewstown two back. Less effective when fifth more recently in a hurdle (3319m) here. Consider if finding form from two runs ago. JOHNGUS (4) did a reasonable job managing third hurdling (3319m) at Naas two runs prior and following a fifth in a steeplechase (3319m) at Tipperary can return to form. ALL FOR RACHEL (6) was fifth 106 days back tackling a maiden hurdle (4023m) at this track. Deserves another chance based on a solid second in a hurdle (4023m) at Navan on penultimate outing.
RACE.6.
LIKABLE CHANCER (14) finished third in a hurdle (4928m) at Cork two runs back. Franked that form when second last time attempting a hurdle (4828m) at Naas. Looks hard to beat. GLENRIVER (1) ran fourth fresh from a spell last start tackling a hurdle (3822m) at Downpatrick with this rider. Sure to be in the mix. CLANDARA (9) was sixth in latest hurdle outing (4123m) at Bellewstown. Deserves another chance. CHAMPAGNE SALOON (3) improved last start with a hurdle fifth at Tipperary. Warrants thought.
RACE.7.
SILENT FLIGHT (1) closed previous campaign with a minor placing in a hurdle (4023m) at Down Royal. Set to go well again fresh. MRS BIDDLE (7) finished seventh two runs back tackling a maiden hurdle (3822m) at Cork. Made amends last time running third in a hurdle (4325m) at Tramore. Rates a chance. WARMER DAYS AHEAD (8) resumes from a three month spell. Finds suitable contest to launch this prep. COPPER COAST (15) unplaced two outings ago in a steeplechase (3118m) at Tramore and was then a modest fifth attempting latest steeplechase (4123m) at Killarney. Worth giving another chance.
RACE.8.
DINOLAND (2) found one better beaten 0.5L in latest attempting a hurdle (4425m) at Downpatrick. Looks the one to beat on that effort. BEARWITHMENOW (13) returned from a spell managing a modest fourth in a hurdle (4325m) at Ballinrobe. May come on for that run and is worth considering. HYPERSONIC MISSILE (3) was unplaced past two starts however is capable of turning things around and warrants thought while INCHIDALY COPPER (11) could produce a bold performance while fresh.
